Please follow guide below on how to setup Multifactor Authentication (MFA) on Mobile phone using Microsoft Authenticator.

            1.      Download Microsoft Authenticator application on your Mobile Phone.

a.      For iPhone, go to Apple Store.

                                

b.      For Android, go to Play Store.

                              

            Note: Make sure you are downloading the Microsoft Authenticator app and Not the Authenticator App.

            2.      Open Microsoft authenticator app on mobile phone.

            3.      Allow the Notification and Accept Microsoft respects your privacy policy.

A.     Setup New Account using QR code

            4.      Select Scan a QR code button.

            5.      Select While using the app to Allow Authenticator to take pictures and record video.

            6.      On the Computer, go to Microsoft Security info in this link https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info. Login your Phoenix email address and password.

            7.      Click + Add sign-in method link then select Authenticator app from dropdown list and click Add button.

            8.      Click Next button on Microsoft Authenticator pop-up.

            9.      Click Next button.

            10.   Scan the QR code using Microsoft Authenticator app on the mobile phone.

            

B.     Setup New Account using Email Address

            4.      Select Add Work or school account button.

     5.      Tap Sign In link.

            6.      Enter your Phoenix email address then tap Next button.

            7.      Enter your Password then tap Sign In button.      

            

            8.      Tap Next button.

            9.      Tap Next button.

            10.   Tap the link Pair your account to the app by clicking this link and wait until the setup is complete.
